Casa Sanctum uses the highest quality pure coconut and apricot wax. Their fragrances are safe and non-toxic. They use both essential oils and oil fragrances to deliver long-lasting, luxury scents. The wooden wicks they use are natural and sustainably sourced. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings, only burn the candle on a flat, fire-resistant surface.

Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

If smoking occurs extinguish flame, trim wick & relight.

When burning the candle for the first time, allow the wax to reach a full melt pool. Wax has a memory and if it’s not melted to the edges of the vessel it can cause tunneling.

Avoid using the lid to extinguish the candle. It can trap the smoke which can affect the scent of the candle. We recommend to use a snuffer or just an old-school blow out.

When a 1/4” of wax is left in your candle, it’s time to remove the remaining wax.

Cleaning — Pour hot water into the vessel and after a few minutes the wax will float on the top, the rest you can clean with soap and water. During this process, be careful to keep the wax from running on the outside surface of the jar.
